fidel was and always will be my central/south american political figure of interest but that does not mean che guevara isn't any less interesting. it's funny because these men fought against all the crap we promote about them today, which is capitalizing off of their rebellion; the rebellion was supposed to be against capitalism and all that jazz. it was not the sole reason perhaps but definitely one of them. and yet i am completely enthralled by them both, mostly fidel, and am perpetuating that awful capitalist cycle that we north americans(read: westerners) do.

i don't advocate the kind of leninist lifestyle they fought for, mostly because i think all political systems are flawed and we're all doomed, but this is such an interesting story. sorry,
these are all interesting
stories, both che and fidel. i am mostly curious to see how fidel is portrayed because benico del toro makes an excellent looking che.
now i know it is epic and four hours long but it is playing in two parts at the princess this month.
LET'S GO.
