the festering sore of our city life

i am in the midst of writing my epic take home exam that causes me frustration every time i look at my instructions and decided to give it up and do something else. i've been doing that for the past few days. watching movies or listening to music or sleeping seems WAY better than writing a make-believe lecture for stupid first years.

ANYWAY today is passover--HAPPY DAY JEWS!-- and tomorrow brings easter weekend with the dying and rising of christ and blah blah blah. i am not religiously affiliated in any fashion BUT every easter there is one treat that chocolate cannot satisfy. and that treat, my friends, is the ten commandments.

a delicious cecil b. demille film with charlton heston and yul brynner; classic in its genre, acting and production. i mean, with graphics like moses parting the sea? come on! amazing! i have never sat through this epic in its entirety and i plan on it saturday night. popcorn plus the best acting chops known to man and a crazy story like moses throwin' snakes at the pharaoh and 'let my people go!' makes my knees all tingly. wait. that could be the pomegranate martini mix i just made that is so much more diluted (and better) with water and pomegranate cherry juice. mmm vodka. i wonder what moses, or charlton heston, would say about that. i mean he did talk to a burning bush and all.
