firsts

so much has happened in a week! i started real work! i haven't caught up with or hung out with enough people (i'm looking at you, maeve strathy and carly lewis.) i know the work i do--no title yet--and do it somewhat well having only learned it in the last few days. my brain isn't prepared to wrap around the concepts of the real working world.

i also wore jeans for the first time in MONTHS. it is kind of ridiculous, this no pants policy i have. i wore them to (briefly) see stars yesterday. i should have stayed for the second set because my seventeen year old self would have been so pleased with their choice of hit songs. at one point it felt like amy millian was singing to only me. she has that affect on me sometimes.
