today i started listening to devendra banhart and though i have adamantly hated him for years, i have ceded to the fact that he is actually a decent singer/songwriter who can write a bit of a catchy tune. yes the song is "lover" and i oddly feel like dancing to him singing so sexually explicitly lyrics as himself being a pear tree where he would like you to taste his seed. indeed.

i haven't given myself wholly to him yet but this is a start.
